Complete Heart Care

Danbury Hospital’s cardiovascular program is the only heart program in the 1,100 square miles of Western Connecticut and nearby New York to offer complete cardiac services including on-site open-heart surgery, angioplasty, stress testing, cardiac rehabilitation, specialized dietitians, physical therapy, a women’s heart program, and long-term risk reduction programs.

A Team Approach

Danbury Hospital welcomes Cary S. Passik, MD, as our new Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery.

“What attracted me to Danbury Hospital was its established and fully integrated team approach to patient care, similar to a model that we used at the Mayo Clinic,” said Dr. Passik. “Danbury Hospital’s advanced heart program uses collaboration among cardiology, surgery, anesthesiology, and nursing, for the best thinking and best outcomes when dealing with life and death conditions.
